Contemporary Iranian is an Anglo-Iranian organisation based in London dedicated to promoting emerging Iranian artists in the UK.
Our mission is to create events for UK audiences covering a range of art forms including live music, contemporary art and photography, performance art and film. We aim for our events to provide an atmospheric, engaging and ultimately fun experience which raises the profile of the artists we seek to promote!
The artists we work with are not necessarily Iranian but all have some connection to Iran, whether they were born there, were born abroad to Iranian
parents, are half-Iranian, or are simply intreagued by Iran as a place or subject manifest in their work.
We hope that our activity will build a picture of Iran that is diverse, contemporary and bursting with creative energy.
